The proposed design plays off existing site topography to create rolling landforms upon which to play. Meandering walks curve around existing, mature trees and new berms to create an open-air sculpture park.
Berms with artful rolling forms provide spaces for pedestals and platforms displaying installations by local artists. A picnic shelter with a unique shape and perforated roof design is envisioned to anchor the north-central portion of the site, adjacent to the existing, preserved tree feature wall. A small natural play area sits nearby activating one of the new landforms.
