Each table identifies a goal with a common theme, along with specific implementation strategies, measurable outcomes, and the intended focus areas that make up the goal. Each implementation strategy and measurable outcome provides a general timeline and difficulty level. Regardless of the anticipated timeline or difficulty, each strategy provides part of the vision for the future of South Dakota, and should be referenced to start a conversation toward the end goal. Together, GOED planning districts and stakeholders will collaborate to select goals and implementation strategies to address in their communities.

Implementation Strategy Lead cooperative energy infrastructure development to efficiently deliver resources to multiple economic development sites and corridors. Measurable Outcome Generate a list of development sites, economic corridors, and shared infrastructure transmission opportunities. Implementation Strategy Promote co-located infrastructure development across types, such as gas, roads, and electric, for shared right-of-ways and economical development.
